"Thirty years unsurpassed in Quality and Value"

When Rudy moved from Switzerland to Northern California, his goal was to establish one of the top show barns on the west coast. His ability to teach, and his passion for the horse quickly built his reputation. Being able to produce young horses for their owners and have them win at all levels, created a demand for his knowledge. Many each year come to Rudy for help in finding the perfect horse. Since 1980 he has been traveling to Europe helping clients find horses through his European contacts. Since he has stepped out of the show ring, he has helped many riders successfully compete at the highest levels.  His ability to match horses and riders has allowed him to help follow one of his passions by starting a consignment business. “There is nothing like helping a rider find just the right horse,” Rudy Leone.

Jill Humphrey, who has always been a force in the hunters and equitation divisions, stormed onto the jumper circuit in 2005. Meeting Rudy through her longtime trainer, Alison Sherred, Jill began competing on some of the sales horses. Jill was paired with great horses, including Riva 49, and Nieuw Dehli. Those two horses helped her earn 2005 PCHA “Rookie” Grand Prix Rider of the Year, and the Northern California Triple Crown series with many consistent placings. The following year brought along new horses, including her World Cup mount, Kaskaya and Equistar, LLC’s Landor B.  As she got to know her new rides, she consistently placed, winning her first grand prix on Landor B in Pebble Beach and later that year winning her first World Cup qualifier with Kaskaya. Continuing the winning streak in 2007 led to PCHA Grand Prix Rider of the Year, qualifying and competing in the 2007 World Cup Finals, as the highest point earner for the west coast, along with winning the Jimmy Kohn Style of Riding award at HITS Thermal.   One of her proudest moments to this day is representing the United States as the alternate for the Pan America Games.
